Yesterday, I arrived home, and got news that the girl nextdoor had been married to my junior in elementary school.
The interesting thing is, the girl graduated from Pesantren. She is known as a good girl, well-mannered, and humble. However, the boy stopped on elementary school, and he entered the bad environment so as he wasted his time playing with his friends doing a lot of bad things. People know him as a bad boy, negative sight coming toward him.
Lately, his father looked for his future wife, but no one suit his taste until the father try to introduce him to the girl next my door. My father was the one who became the mediator. On the first day of introduction, the girl's parents were about to reject because they knew the background of the boy, However, since the girl once was in Pesantren, she didn't know much about him. So, she decided to want to know more about him, my father gave her the phone number of the boy.
The girl started sending messages first (best girl), and after spent a week by SMS (their house is just separated by 100m), the girl finally made her decision. The girl said something really 'heartwarming'. She said that if he really is her fate, then let it be, even if he was a bad guy, perhaps this is her way to make him into a better person.
After married, the boy changed incredibly. He is welcoming all advice from his wife. Starting from, how he was asked to be Imam even he never did that, and asked to rectify his form. Now, he is being hard-working person on works and prayers. Even people who got negative sight before, proud of him.
